What You Can Expect
- Old and New Designations on the Certificate: 06Cr19Ni10 = former 0Cr18Ni9 = ASTM 304. All three are listed side by side, so customs and design institutes don't have to cross-check.
- Thickness 0.3–60 mm, width up to 2000 mm; cold-rolled 2B / BA, hot-rolled No.1, and HL / 8K / embossed for full sheets.
- Certificates can be issued to GB/T, or in parallel to EN 10204 3.1; third-party inspection (SGS / BV) arranged before loading.
Frequently Asked
Chemically they are equivalent and interchangeable. The difference is the governing standard: GB/T 3280 versus ASTM A240. We print both designations on the certificate so neither customs nor drawing review rejects the shipment.
We take the stricter value for each element (usually carbon content and mechanical properties) and list both standard numbers on the certificate, so one lot clears both markets.
